It can be a risk to buy online, no matter how hard we try up front to guarantee that something fits. But DonkeyGirl does want everyone to be happy, so we'll try and make everything right in any situation. But sometimes that doesn't work out, so we need to talk about returns and/or exchanges.
Sorry, but DonkeyGirl does not offer returns. She runs a tight ship, and doesn't carry much inventory. However, if you feel the item was misrepresented on this website, contact via email and we may be able to make an exception.
DonkeyGirl will happily make alterations free of charge (you pay shipping), and will even make exchanges in most circumstances. If it comes to that, please contact DonkeyGirl via email and we'll see what needs to happen. In order for an exchange to be approved, there are a couple rules. First, the item must be in perfect condition so that it may be resold. In other words, if it comes back smelling like a party, DonkeyGirl won't be exchanging it. If your dog or cat slept on it, no go. You get the picture.
Exchanges can be made for equal or greater value (with difference payable via PayPal or credit card).
Of course none of this applies to custom orders. In those cases we'll jump whatever hurdles come up as they come. Bottom line, DonkeyGirl wants you to love your purchase and is highly motivated to work with you to make that happen!
